I am the chief executive of Impetus, a medium sized local charity in Brighton and Hove which promotes volunteering in its various and diverse forms. We are improving communications amongst our volunteers and our wonderful Impetus community with this Blog. I love jazz and play saxophone. My bike is my main form of transport and I cycle into work every day as my contribution to reducing carbon, keeping fit and seeing the sea, which I love. I live in Brighton with my wife Christine Connolly, who is a primary school deputy head in Portslade.
